CAV Angels founders Dick Crawford, Jim Cheng, Rob Masri, and Douglas Muir are hosting events in Northern Virginia to introduce CAV Angels.

Northern VA Event

About CAV Angels:

CAV Angels is a recently launched angel investment network looking to bring high potential startups with a strong UVA connection to their network of members for investment and mentorship.  Founded by four seasoned angels and entrepreneurs, CAV Angels strives to elevate the entrepreneurial eco-system for University of Virginia alumni by inspiring, connecting, funding, and mentoring the extended UVA start up community.  While not officially affiliated with or endorsed by the University of Virginia, CAV Angels seeks to give back to the university through fellowship programs, donations to scholarship funds, and contributions to entrepreneurial events and contests.

 

Currently, CAV Angels is recruiting both entrepreneurs and investors with a strong connection to UVA to join their network; this includes alumni, students, faculty/staff, researchers, parents and others with a strong UVA affiliation.  Membership as an angel investor is restricted only to those who qualify as an accredited investor under SEC Rule 501, but the event is not restricted to just accredited investors.

 

While our headquarters is in Charlottesville, we will leverage technology to span geographical gaps and give all of our members the complete angel investing experience, no matter how far from UVA Grounds.
